Multi-Skilled Engineer
Main Purpose of the job:
Undertake maintenance, servicing, repairs, and installations as directed in occupied and unoccupied properties, always recognizing the importance of courtesy and politeness in accordance with the UTU Group customer care philosophy.
Job Role/Responsibilities
> Carry out installations, reactive repairs, and replacements at UTU Group’s commercial locations.
> Ensure that all tools and equipment are operated safely and in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines to prevent accidents.
> Operate various power and hand tools safely and effectively.
> Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
> Job roles will include various trades, such as roofing, carpentry, plastering, decorating, plumbing, among others.
> Lone and team working
> Completing precise job reports for the given electrical device
> Coordinate and communicate effectively with management and office staff.
> Conduct yourself with professionalism and consistently uphold the Company’s core values and business aspirations.
> Ready to be flexible with work hours and willing to do overtime if necessary.

Job Requirements
> Previous experience in managing commercial properties such as offices, retail parks, and industrial sites.
> Previous experience in a commercial facilities management role.
> Strong and clear communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
> Experience with a variety of trades, including but not limited to roofing, carpentry, plastering, decorating, and plumbing.
> Maintain a clean and tidy appearance, ensuring the proper use and wearing of all provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
> Understanding of the principles and processes necessary for delivering a customer care-oriented service, which includes assessing customer needs, meeting service quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction in alignment with IFM’s commercial goals.
> Ability to solve complex problems by identifying issues, reviewing relevant information, and developing, evaluating, and implementing solutions.
> Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of work quality.
> Conducting quality control analysis through testing and inspecting products, services, or processes to assess quality or performance, ensuring client needs are met and company objectives are achieved.

Qualifications
A full clean driving license is essential.
City & Guilds is not a requirement, though it is advantageous.
IPAF is not mandatory, but it is preferred.
